The tobacco flavors are clean and the burn and draw are more than reliable. The flavors are full and intense, including mocha, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla and gingerbread. The second part of the cigar is richer and the aromas turn to liquorice and leather, whilst the power increases in accordance.

Introduced in 1971 and sharing its dimensions with Cohiba’s Lanceros, the Especial offers a slightly more intense flavour in this elegant size. Also stronger than the majority of the Montecristo cigars, the Especiales is a connoisseur’s cigar. To get the best from this cigar, you should keep it in the humidor for about 4 years.
